Summer Moon – Leon Bridges (ft. Kevin Kaarl)
Leon Bridges has somehow landed in a spot where if he puts out a song (or is featured in one), it always seems to turn out well. Leon’s newest song “Summer Moon,” is no exception with the R&B crooner laying down his signature smooth vocals on top of a laid back beat. Teaming up with Latin singer/songwriter, Kevin Kaarl, this track will definitely put you in a nice, relaxed summertime mood.
Just Say – Coco & Breezy (ft. Tara Carosielli)
Sister DJ/producer duo, Coco & Breezy, have burst to prominence in the house music world over the last while with their fun, dreamy beats, and cool, stylish personas. Coming off a huge success of a set at EDC earlier this year, Coco & Breezy are continuing their momentum with their new track “Just Say,” which has an awesome groove and a laid back, summer vibe that will put you in the zone.
Mercury – Steve Lacy
We love Steve Lacy for his incredible guitar skills and ability to craft unique songs that will get stuck in your head and gain more depth with each listen. His new track, “Mercury,” sounds a bit different than his other work but we are absolutely here for it. With a classic sounding beat, Latin sounding guitars/drums, and some exquisite vocals, Steve puts together a song that is a new sound while still retaining the sound we’ve grown to love from the ex-Internet guitarist.
Moon Groove – Noizu
After massive reactions on the dance floor over the last few months, Noizu has finally released his new track “Moon Groove” on his self-run label Techne Records. With a euphoric vocal, a pumping bass line, and some nice feeling synths, this new track is guaranteed to be played out on stages around the world this summer.
Attention (Disclosure Remix) – Omah Lay (ft. Justin Bieber)
Our favorite UK DJ duo is back again with another amazing genre-blending track with Afrobeats star Omah Lay & pop superstar Justin Bieber. On this remix, Disclosure does what they do best producing music that compliments the vocals of the artists on the original song. This remix will definitely be getting the attention of many this summer.
Honey – John Legend (ft. Muni Long)
John Legend undoubtedly has one of the best voices in music today with 12 Grammy’s to prove it. With the mic being shared with stunning vocalist Muni Long, “Honey” is a catchy tune guaranteed to get stuck in your head!
Slow Down (James Cole Remix) – Maverick Sabre & Jorja Smith
When we talk about songs that leave a lasting impression, this is one of them. They can remix this track a million times and we will never get sick of it. Maybe it’s Jorja strong vocals or the funky bass line, but whatever it is we can’t get enough of it. We suggest you also check out Vintage Culture remix which was a huge hit in 2020.
Nobody – Bruno Furlan (ft. Medusa)
Brazilian house Dj/Producer Bruno Furlan is on the rise in the scene with his name behind tracks that have been played at clubs and festivals around the world. “Nobody” is his super fun collab with Medusa, with some super fun and unique techno and disco vibes.
Album Honestly, Nevermind – Drake
Another year, another surprise drop Drake album. Now we know that house music has truly taken off over the last few years, but now it has the Drizzy stamp of approval as Drake releases a house music influenced album that is a somewhat new sound for him. With producer Gordo (prev. Carnage) putting together 6 of the 14 songs on the album, you can feel the electronic influence along with Drake’s classic vocal sound. Some of our favorite songs are “Falling Back,” “Massive,” “Flight’s Booked,” & “Jimmy Cooks (ft. 21 Savage).”
Album Life Is Yours – Foals
Three-piece indie rock band, Foals, has gloriously returned with their new album, Life Is Yours. The new album brings us Foals classic funky rock sound that incorporates funky bass lines, pumping drums, and the lead singer’s signature vocals. Some of our favorite tracks are “Life Is Yours,” “2001,” & “Looking High”
