Welcome to a super fun new week of Infinite Purple’s New Music Friday recap where we sift through this week’s released tracks to bring you the songs that stand out!

Read all the way through or make your way to the bottom for the full Spotify playlist of our Friday discoveries.

YDK – Magsy
We cannot get enough Magsy in our lives. That’s why we were so damn excited to receive Magsy’s new EP, Brite Nite. One of our favorites from the new EP is the track “YDK,” which puts Magsy’s truly impeccable voice behind a nice laid back beat and emotional synths. Go listen to this song (& EP) ASAP, you won’t be disappointed. (Cont. below)

Wake Up! (ft. Kaleta) – Purple Disco Machine & Bosq
Big daddy of disco-inspired house Purple Disco Machine has some of the most catchy and fun house tunes that are always funky and uplifting. “Wake Up!” is a lively summertime dance tune that will get stuck in your head after the first listen. If PDM happens to be new to you, you definitely will want to check out some of his other music!

PROBLEMZ – Jungle
Now is the time for vibey beach music and Jungle has come through with exactly what we’re looking for! “Problemz” is a great one for nearly any setting, especially on your drive to the beach or under the sun with friends.

Alpha Zulu – Phoenix
Legendary rock band, Phoenix, has released their new song in a long time with their new single, “Alpha Zulu.” On the new track, we get the classic experimental Phoenix rock sound with a funky beat, bouncing synths, and the lead singer’s iconic vocals that we’ve grown to know so well. After all this time, Phoenix still knows how to put together an amazing track.

Escape (John Summit Remix) – deadmau5, Kaskade, Kx5 (ft. Hayla)
The blending of deadmau5 and Kaskade’s progressive house and trance vibes was the birth of Kx5, and John Summit’s touch on their latest release “Escape” is exactly what we feel it needed. This one is driven by a passionate vocal and followed by some super clubby house vibes!

La Murga (Michael’s Midnight Mix) – Michael Bibi
Michael Bibi and his pals in the deep tech scene have really carved out their own corner of the dance music scene with an indistinguishable sound of quick and busy beats and always-catchy vocals and sampling. “La Murga” has some authentically festive and catchy Latin vibes with the right touch of Michael Bibi’s danceable sound.

EP BRITE NITE – Magsy
Magsy is a superstar in the making and that shows clearly through his new EP, “Brite Nite.” Having already heard two of the five tracks, we knew this was going to be an amazing work of art, but we were blown away by the new additions. You may find the track “Midnight Blue,” familiar as a version of the track was recently released as the title track to Whethan’s recent album MIDNIGHT. Magsy’s original version is a beautiful song that will absolutely get stuck in your head. We recommend listening through the entire EP as soon as you can.

Album Highway – Kid Bloom
Budding indie rock artist, Kid Bloom, has released his debut album, Highway, and it is an awesome showing of what’s to come from the young musician. After the recent success of his single “Have U Seen Her,” his fans were eagerly awaiting the full album and it did not disappoint. With hip-hop inspired beats, funky synths/bass, and his infectious voice, Kid Bloom solidifies himself in the music world with Highway. Some of our favorite tracks are “Like I Never Left,” “Have U Seen Her,” & “I Fell in Love Again.”
