Potion – Calvin Harris (ft. Dua Lipa & Young Thug)
Nothing signifies the beginning of summer like a new Calvin Harris album, and, summer is here baby. 😎 Calvin Harris’ first single off of his upcoming Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 which follows up on his 2017 massive first edition. The new song, “Potion,” sees the DJ/Producer team up with two of his previous collaborators, Dua Lipa & Young Thug. You’ll want to keep this one on repeat as we move into the summer season.
Chromatic – Anti Up
Anti Up (collaboration of Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo) has put out some super fun tunes from “Hey Pablo” to “Concentrate” that always have an upbeat and experimental vibe to them. “Chromatic” is one of those tracks we’ve seen in videos across social media for some time now and we’re super excited for this release from these legends! This one is a super hot house track with some awesome club vibes. Expect to hear this one at your next festival or night out at the club!
I’m in a Funk – Franc Moody
Electronic/Funk group, Franc Moody, always brings funky vibes, whether the song is about something happy or sad. On this new track, “I’m in a Funk,” we hear the singer muse about being “in a funk and needing somebody,” while a funky bass line and beat play behind it. This track is definitely a feel-good and should be enjoyed in the sun over the next couple of months.
A Bar About a Bar – Chance the Rapper
When it comes to clever, quick, & witty flow that is catchy and goes perfectly with the beat, Chance the Rapper definitely has it all. We’ve been following Chance since his teenage mixtape days and his music has progressed so much over the years and this track is no exception. His new song, “A Bar About a Bar,” is a classic Chance track with the sampled hip hop beat, his classic flow, and vocal movements to keep your attention. Chance tells a story so vividly that really paints a clear picture for the listener.
OoooH – CID & WILL K
CID has been behind many big-time house tracks to circulate around festivals and clubs around the globe. “OoooH” is a really fun one with a vocal anybody would recognize and a high-energy house beat that is destined to get people up and moving.
Us (Polar Inc. Remix) – Nora En Pure
Nora En Pure’s original “Us” was an easy-listening vocally centered tune that was a nice change up from Nora’s original sound and we’re loving the deeper rendition featured in Polar Inc.’s remix. This one is such a nice and chill vibey track, perfect for a long drive, sunset, or relaxing at home!
Album Mellow Moon – Alfie Templeman
Young British singer/songwriter, Alfie Templeman, has a sound that seems to be beyond his years. With funky beats, unique vocals, and an all around amazing vibe, his music has stood out to us on many occasions. That’s why we were so excited for the release of his new album, Mellow Moon. On it, we get a musical exploration that is rooted in pop/funk, but experiments with all sorts of sound and feels. Some of our favorite tracks are “A Western,” “Colour Me Blue,” & the title track “Mellow Moon.”
