Read all the way through or make your way to the bottom for the full Spotify playlist of our Friday discoveries.

Wave Gods – Nas (ft. A$AP Rocky & DJ Premier)
Nas is back with a brand new album, Magic, that is classic Nas with his incredible wordplay and New York style beats. The standout track, “Wave Gods,” features rapper A$AP Rocky and legendary DJ/Producer, DJ Premier. This song has a bumping beat to go along with the energized rapping of Nas & A$AP. (Full album continued below)

Real Thing – Lights (ft. Elohim)
Alt-pop artist, Lights, teams up with LA based electronic alternative artist, Elohim, for a song that’s quite a groove. Utilizing a funky backing beat, dreamy synths, and some beautiful vocals, Lights & Elohim craft an awesome song that will make you feel some type of way.

Woman – Rak-Su
Four man group, Rak-Su, has released a sweet new track called “Woman.” The new song has a nice dancehall beat and some awesome vocalizations over the top by the group of singers.

Cry Again – Windows 96 (ft. Gavriel)
Aptly named producer, Windows 96, really knows how to stir up the nostalgic electronic vibes. On his new song “Cry Again,” Windows 96 puts together some retro synths and basses to craft a dreamy, feel good track.

Album Magic – Nas
(Continued) Although Nas only has features on that one song, the rest of the album is just as good. His ability to find perfect beats to go along with his flow is unmatched and shown clear on this album. Some of our other favorite tracks from it include “Speechless,” “Hollywood Gangsta,” & “The Truth.”

And some more tracks that stood out this week:
