Move – Flight Facilities (ft. DRAMA)
Australian electronic duo, Flight Facilities, and R&B/Dance Pop duo, DRAMA, are both been on streaks of releasing amazing music so it was no surprise to see the two team up. On “Move,” the two duos blend their musical skills creating a house sound that harkens back to 90s house music. This song will definitely get you moving.
Don’t Play With My Heart – India Shawn
R&B singer, India Shawn, has delivered us a smooth new track that is funky and laid back. India’s voice is really soothing and the beat/bass line really put this song in the groove. As the second single this year from India Shawn, “Don’t Play With My Heart,” is hopefully an awesome sign of what’s to come.
Next To Me – Elliot Fitch
Producer, Elliot Fich, has a knack for creating funky dance-floor ready songs that have a unique tinge to them. On his newest single, “Next To Me,” Elliot absolutely puts his production prowess on display with the funky bass, vintage sounds, and soulful vocal.
All of This – Jorja Smith & GuiltyBeatz
Oh how we love our girl Jorja. On her new song “All of This,” the R&B singer gets a fired up beat from producer, GuiltyBeatz, and works her vocal magic all over it. Jorja shows over and over how little backing she needs to create a powerful track.
Colors (The Knocks Remix) – Thunder Jackson
Anytime The Knocks are on a remix it’s pretty much guaranteed you’re going to get a super fun, feel good song. On their newest remix, they put their spin on the already funky song “Colors” by singer Thunder Jackson. This remix brings up the energy with the super funkified bass line addition.
Escalate – Ben Böhmer & JONAH
German electronic wizard, Ben Böhmer, has released a fresh, building track that has as much emotion as it does synth textures. With his expansive sounds and background vocals, Böhmer builds his own world in the track making it unique and enjoyable.
Nova – Justin Nozuka
Singer-songwriter, Justin Nozuka, has been releasing songs for over a decade and he still continues to put out really awesome music. On his new single, “Nova,” he puts his smooth voice over a funky, laid back beat.
Album 333 – Tinashe
Tinashe has released her newest album, 333, and it is quite an awesome record. With a lot of unique and crossover types of production on the album, Tinashe proves why she is such a star. Teaming up with Wax Motif was the cherry on top. Some of our favorites from 333 are “Undo (Back To My Heart),” “Bouncin,” & “X.”
Album Mordechai Remixes – Khruangbin
One of our favorite modern bands, Khruangbin, has released the 10-track Mordechai Remixes album following up the original album released in 2020. Some of our favorite tracks from the remix album is “Father Bird, Mother Bird (Sunbirds),” “Dearest Alfred (MyJoy),” & “If There is No Question (Soul Clap’s Wild, but not Crazy Mix).”
