Skate – Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak)
If you heard Silk Sonic’s first single “Leave The Door Open,” (not sure how you could have not heard it by now) then you can understand the excitement that we felt when we received the next track from the supergroup. On “Skate,” Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak continue to prove their power with all the sounds of classic funk and soul utilizing strings, horns, and smooth singing.
Whatchu Doin Later – Park Hye Jin
Korean producer, Park Hye Jin, has released her newest track and it is as edgy & unique as Park. With a hard bass line, a hip hop beat, and some awesome piano playing, “Whatchu Doin Late,” is a really awesome song that creates a super cool vibe.
Truth – Jungle
Modern rock band, Jungle, is always on their A-game. On their newest single, “Truth,” the band creates another pumping track that incorporates Jungle’s regular rock guitar, vocals, and drums. With the first three songs or four songs released, this next project is shaping up to be an instant classic.
Just Feels Tight – FISHER
If you’ve been keeping an eye on the tech house DJ circuit then you know that Fisher and his crew are currently running the show, selling out packed shows around the world. To add to his handful of original releases, “Just Feels Tight” is in true Fish fashion with a clean and simple tech house beat, punching bass, and some really fun synths that come and go throughout!
Bewise – Bootsy Collins
Classic funk artist, Bootsy Collins, is back with his first single of 2021 since his song “The Power of One,” which was featured a while back on IP’s blog. “Bewise,” is a super fun song with a funky beat and some really awesome backing vocals. We love Bootsy and hope for more soon!
Shaolin Dreams – Michael Bibi
Bibi is another house artist who’s running the show right now, with many huge original releases as well as many artists finding success under his label, Solid Grooves. “Shaolin Dreams” is and isn’t what we’re used to hearing from the typical after hours feel we hear from Bibi, but it’s just as good as what we could have asked for with some really cool worldly vibes.
EP IT’S OKAY, WE’RE DREAMING – SEB
Coming off of some viral success with his song “seaside_demo” on TikTok, SEB has released his debut EP. The new EP is some really amazing proof of how good SEB really is. With a bright future ahead of him, SEB sings in his unique way with some really nice and soft music in the background. He truly has a unique and beautiful sound. Some of our favorites from the EP are “killer lover boy,” “THEY DON’T LIKE ME,” & “Coney Island.”
Album Happier Than Ever – Billie Eilish
The eyelash has returned! On her sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, Billie Eilish does what she does best creating soft, emotional songs that push the boundaries. The subtlety and songwriting on this album are really impressive and prove why she is so damn popular. Some of our favorite songs are “Happier Than Ever,” “Oxytocin,” & “Billie Bossa Nova.”
