Playbox – Purple Disco Machine
Nu disco DJ & producer, Purple Disco Machine, who also happens to be one of our all-time favorite artists, is back with an awesome new dance track that’ll make you happy and get you dancing. The marimba-like sound that houses the main melody is unique, island-y, and very nice on the ears. Make sure to play this on your next dance-floor.
Been Through That – Majid Jordan
Incredibly talented R&B duo, Majid Jordan, has released their second track from their forthcoming album. Their newest track brings the classic Majid Jordan with a funky beat, laid back synths, and some nostalgic vocals.
Free – Parcels
Parcels have released their first new single in a couple years and it is fantastic. The band who formed in Byron Bay, Australia and currently live in Berlin, Germany, come together in the perfect way for their new track. “Free” sounds like it could have been made in the ’70s or ’80s. Here’s to hoping an album is on its way.
Les jolies choses – Polo & Pan
The third single off Polo & Pan’s upcoming album, Cyclorama, is the most relaxed of the three with some unique sounds and feels. “Les jolies choses” feels like it could be on the soundtrack for some awesome movie and we are excited to hear how the whole album weaves together when it comes out next Friday!
Loverini – Myd & L’Impératrice
Two amazing artists team up on the new track “Loverini” which is why it’s so damn good. Electronic producer, Myd, comes together with French funk band L’Impératrice to craft a funky, summer tune.
Why Don’t You Touch Me – Leon Bridges
The lead-up to R&B singer Leon Bridges newest album continues to make us so excite for this record. On the new track “Why Don’t You Touch Me,” Leon croons about love going sour with his incredible songwriting skills and beautiful, one-of-a-kind voice.
Fudge – Idris Elba & Eliza Legzdina
The legendary actor/DJ/producer Idris Elba is back with his newest single, “Fudge,” featuring Eliza Legzdina who’s music has been featured on Michaela Coel’s I May Destroy You on HBO. This track is really fun with some super fun sounds and the vocals of not just Eliza, but also Idris himself.
Album Back of My Mind – H.E.R.
R&B superstar, H.E.R., has released her third full length album and she is only 23 years old. The new album, Back of My Mind, is an incredible record that is soulful, powerful, and features some incredible artists like Lil Baby, Thundercat, and YG. Some of our favorite tracks are “Bloody Waters (ft. Thundercat),” “Paradies (ft. Yung Bleu),” & “Hold On.”
