Tunnel – Polo & Pan and Channel Tres
Wow. Wow. Wow. When we first heard that the rising legend Channel Tres was making an appearance on Polo & Pan’s new album we were ecstatic and the result is more than we could have hoped for. The two sounds combine and fuse so seamlessly on “Tunnel” that it is instantly one of the best P & P songs to date. This one will stay on repeat for time to come!
Liz – Remi Wolf
Remi Wolf has catapulted to stardom and for good reason. On her newest track since her debut album, Remi absolutely crushes it with a groovy, funked out song that puts her songwriting and vocal skills on full display. She has created a classic sound and “Liz” is a shining example of what’s to come from the growing talent.
Yonaguni – Bad Bunny
The top artist in the world is back with a brand new release after his prolific 2020 releasing two huge albums. His newest track “Yonaguni” has a super nice laid back vibe with a fun beat and some soft synths. Bad Bunny has a knack for creating vocal melodies that get stuck in your head, even if you don’t speak Spanish.
Last Train Home – John Mayer
John Mayer’s releases have been sporadic over the last few years as he has continued to tour with Dead & Company, but we have enjoyed them all. On his newest song, “Last Train Home,” John shows us why he is one of the greats. The song is reminiscent of 80s rock like Bruce Springsteen and Sting. We hope to hear much more of this in the coming year.
Two Feathers – Paco Versailles
Los Angeles-based Paco Versailles is one of those artists that we can always rely on to release some of the best feel-good tunes that raise your mood to a dreamy and peaceful place. “Two Feathers” is beachy and chill, but very danceable too! If you liked this one, throw Paco on shuffle, you won’t be disappointed.
Aquatic – Nora En Pure
South African Dj/Producer and founder of Purified Records, Nora En Pure is back with yet another beautifully deep and elegant house track. From the start, “Aquatic” has a nice and punchy beat that undoubtedly will make anyone want to move. Nora also brings in some oceanic synths, reverb-heavy piano, and slowed down violin solo’s throughout that make this one come together to be a truly hypnotic Nora tune!
Waiting Around for a New Me – Woods
Indie rock band, Woods, has been really blowing us away with their rock sounds that just make you feel good. On their newest song “Waiting Around for a New Me,” they prove why they are so amazing. The song has some soothing guitar and horns, and is reminiscent of amazing bands like The Shins.
Emergency – Tommy Trash & Yolanda Be Cool
Tommy Trash joins forces with one of our favorites, Yolanda Be Cool, for a catchy and fun club track that is “Emergency.” This song has a great beat and bassline, but the vocal is the kicker!
Pull Up – DJ Susan & Skonka
Head honcho at Hood Politics Records, DJ Susan comes together with LA-based DJ/Produced Skonka for their first-ever release on Dim Mak Records, “Pull Up.” Both of these guys got it down on how to lay down a top-notch club track, and this one is exactly that! With an ultra-bouncy bassline and some really fun and upbeat drums, this one’s guaranteed to raise the vibe at any dance party!
I Don’t Know – Hollaphonic
Insightful is both a beautiful producer and person, and we were super excited to finally get his new EP, Lovers Path. With some incredible features, this EP is an awesome work of art that is definitely worth a full listen through. Some of our favorite tracks from the EP are “Without You (ft. Baby Rose),” “Hollow (ft. Julius),” & “Learn (ft. Tay Iwar).”
Album With Opened Eyes – Vindata
LA-based duo, Vindata, has been quickly rising in our minds as they blend house, R&B, and hip-hop to create something that is uniquely their own. On their debut album, With Opened Eyes, Vindata shows us their full power as they stream together an album full of unique sounds, vibes, and even genres. Some of our favorite tracks are “Skin (I Give In To You),” “6 ft.,” & “Good 4 Me.”
