Bussdown – Jorja Smith (ft. Shaybo)
Our favorite gal is back with a brand new album that is as beautiful as she is. “Bussdown” features UK rapper Shaybo and is a sexy, vibed out track that incorporates a simple beat and some nice guitar. Check out the full album Be Right Back continued below.
Hippies – The Magician (ft. Two Another)
DJ/Producer, The Magician, who is the solo project of Stephen Fasano has released an awesome new track while teaming up with exciting up and comers Two Another. The Magician, who previously founded the duo Aeroplane, has been pumping out great tracks for a while now. “Hippies” is a super fun, nostalgic song that will definitely get you dancing.
Motorbike – Leon Bridges
There’s nothing like a new Leon Bridges song. “Motorbike” is a wonderful, laid back track from the R&B crooner who has risen to a meteoric fame over the last five years. Here’s to hoping this is leading up to a new album from the star.
Hey! – Gaspard Augé & Justice
Gaspard Augé, who is one half of the legendary electronic duo Justice, has brought us an epic new song that includes a rolling bass and some super fun synth sounds & strings. This song definitely has the feel of a Justice track and we are here for it.
So Fine – Pat Lok & Party Pupils
Pat Lok has a knack for fusing sounds and genres to make tracks that are unique and exciting. On “So Fine,” he teams up with Party Pupils to deliver a funky house song that is groovy and feels good in the soul.
Album Delta Kream – The Black Keys
The Black Keys long awaited new album has finally been released to the world and it is glorious. It incorporates their typical hard rocking sound with influences from the south and their country roots. The guitar playing on this album is stunning and reminds us that The Black Keys have still got it. Some of our favorite tracks are “Stay All Night,” “Walk With Me,” & “Mellow Peaches.”
Album The Off-Season – J. Cole
J. Cole is back to prove why so many people put him at the top of the rap game. With no features and the lyrical power of a lion, Cole shows his true power behind the mic. Some of our favorite songs are “a m a r i,” “9 5 . s o u t h,” & “p r i d e . i s . t h e . d e v i l.”
Album Be Right Back – Jorja Smith
[Continued] Jorja Smith has given us a beautiful new album that puts her gorgeous voice and songwriting skills on full display. Although the album is only 8 tracks, they are powerful, sexy, and make us feel good. Some of our favorites (aside from “Bussdown”) are “Burn,” “Addicted,” & “Weekend.”
Remix EP So Good (Remixes) – Fred Falke, Zen Freeman, & Ten Ven
After absolutely loving the original track “So Good,” by Fred Falke, Zen Freeman, & Ten Ven, we weren’t convinced that remixes were a good idea. But after listening to these remixes, we are happy to see that they are definitely worth a listen. Although they might not be as good as the original, they bring a unique feel to the song that continues to make us feel So Good.
