Read all the way through or make your way to the bottom for the full Spotify playlist of our Friday discoveries.

Ani Kuni – Polo & Pan
They’re back baby! One of our all-time favorite groups is back with an incredible new track. The French producer/DJ duo Polo & Pan has been making huge waves in the music world over the last few years and there is no stop in sight. Their new release, “Ani Kuni,” is a super fun song that has the feel of a cowboy western mixed with wonderful live sounds that also will cause you to dance uncontrollably. Here’s to hoping this is the lead up to another album!

Higher Power – Coldplay
Coldplay is back with their first release in a long time. Although Coldplay is pretty consistent in releasing new music every year or two, we are nevertheless excited every time something new comes out from them. On “Higher Power,” we get a electric track that is reminiscent of their Mylo Xyloto album which we absolutely loved.

Going Down South – The Black Keys
Another awesome single has been released for the upcoming Black Keys album that is shaping up more and more to be an incredible album that incorporates sounds from over the years of their music. “Going Down South” is a southern bluesy track that is perfect for a long drive.

Lost In Space – Folamour (ft. SG Lewis)
The new song “Lost In Space” sees two incredible electronic artists team up for a track that is funky and mysterious. House/funk/disco DJ & producer Folamour recruits esteemed electronic producer/DJ SG Lewis to put together this awesome track that even includes some fun strings and synths.

Shake – Anti Up (Chris Lake & Chris Lorenzo)
Superstar house producers Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo have carved out their own corner in the world of dance music individually as well as with their collaborative project that is Anti Up. “Shake” is in the same fashion as many of their tunes: upbeat and in your face, with the perfect amount of experimental weirdness!

Balcony – Dayglow
Young up-and-coming artist Dayglow has released a slew of really awesome tracks in the lead up to his sophomore album Harmony House and “Balcony” is definitely getting us excited for it. The song is an upbeat indie rock song that has a nice bass line and Dayglow’s beautiful vocals.

Grindin – Sidney Charles
Being based in Portugal and coming from German roots, Sidney Charles just knows how to lay down a beat. “Grindin” is somewhat in Charles’ realm and also somewhat isn’t. This one carries his signature moving dance beat that is guaranteed to make you move, but there are also some really fun and mesmerizing synths throughout that make it feel slightly dreamy and ultra interesting! If this one was for you, definitely check out some of Sidney Charles’ most popular classics!

Deeper Underground – Kevin McKay
If you’ve been following the blog then you know we love some Kevin Mckay tunes, and he has stayed releasing originals since the start of the year! “Deeper Underground,” as well as most of Mckay’s releases, is an upbeat and bouncy house track with an ultra fun and soulful vocal!

A.B.C. – Block & Crown & Lissat
We love a good house remix of a classic, especially when a producer perfectly meshes the old with the new. “A.B.C” is essentially a remix of the Jackson 5 classic, with a modern disco-house twist. Whether you are dancing with friends or simply need a mood boost, this one is for you!

Intentions – PAX
Ever since stumbling upon PAX’s remix of MGMT’s “Electric Feel,” we’ve been hooked on their varying style of dance tunes. Though these guys put together some really enjoyable melodic house, “Intentions” carries more of a late night after hours vibe. Whether you’re in the club or hitting the gym, this one is guaranteed to raise the vibe with it’s heavy bass and entrancing vocals.

EP Reasons You Should Care – Fiji Blue
Fiji Blue initially caught our attention this year with “It Takes Two,” which is an amazing indie electronic song. Their new EP Reasons You Should Care has solidified what we already knew about them. This EP is a really awesome showing from the up and coming duo and is definitely worth a full listen through. Some of our favorites are “Outside,” “Wait!,” & “Reasons You Should Care.”

Album Friends – Local Opener
Local Opener is another fairly recent find from us here at Infinite Purple. Having previously posted “Show You Love” on our blog earlier this year, we were eager to hear the rest of the forthcoming album. This is a wonderful indie rock album that is perfect for a road trip or a nice walk. Some of our favorite tracks are “Too Far Gone,” “I’ve Got You,” & “Show You Love.”
