Black Gold – Flying Lotus & Thundercat
In the ramp up to Netflix’s new animated series Yasuke, two incredible artists teamed up to make a track that feels fitting for the type of show it’s made for. Legendary producer Flying Lotus and Bass god Thundercat put together a track that is dreamy and funky at the same time. A true dream pairing.
Never See You – Richie Quake
Richie Quake continues to release high quality, unique music that we absolutely love. His newest track, “Never See You,” is a vibed out rock song that incorporates some amazing synths and Richie’s typical smooth vocals.
Escalator – BoomBox
Colorado based electronic jam band Boombox is back with their first release of the year, “Escalator.” There is no way around it, these guys just know how to get a solid groove going! This track is on the funkier side, with emphasis on the bass guitar and a really nice beat!
Golden – Claptone & Two Another
Another awesome matchup of amazing artists is here with the song “Golden.” Long time DJ & producer, Claptone, gets together with the incredible duo Two Another to create a song that incorporates the sounds fo both artists. Its fun and definitely brings a summertime feel.
Gypsy Woman – Disconfect (ft. Tom Misch)
Brooklyn based DJ/producer/remixer Disconfect does his own take on the classic track “Gypsy Woman.” Backed up by the beautiful guitar stylings of Tom Misch, this song is fun, funky, and an awesome version of the timeless song.
Let The Sun Shine (Purple Disco Machine Remix) – Milk & Sugar
As we all know, Purple Disco Machine never misses. All of his songs are amazing and fun to dance to. This one is not an exception as PDM remixes the classic song Let The Sun Shine as it was redone by Milk & Sugar. This song will definitely get you dancing.
Come Through – H.E.R. (ft. Chris Brown)
H.E.R., who has catapulted to R&B fame with a slew of incredible songs, teams up with R&B veteran Chris Brown to make a laid back song with some nice guitar riffing and a fun beat. This is a nice late night track to make you feel good.
Everything’s Gonna Be Alright – Mark Knight & Beverley Knight (ft. London Community Gospel Choir)
If you have a taste for some upbeat gospel-house vibes, then “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” is just for you. From start to finish, this one is joyous, celebratory and outright fun! If you enjoyed this one check out some more from Mark Knight, you won’t be disappointed!
Intoxicated – Me & My Toothbrush
When searching for upbeat funky house music to listen to, Me & My Toothbrush is one of the first names we look to! “Intoxicated” is in fashion with mine general vibe of their releases, extremely funky, danceable, and an absolute jam!
Album There’s A Nightclub Inside My Head – Boston Bun
Impressive house and electronic artist Boston Bun has released his first full-length album and it is very very good. Bringing in his normal indie electronic sound, Boston Bun crafts an album that will take you through multiple emotions, but definitely keep you dancing. Some of our favorites are “Your Body Your Mind,” “Whenever You’re Ready,” & “B.B.B.”
Album Nurture – Porter Robinson
Porter Robinson is back with his newest album Nurture, and it is a wonderful musical journey. Porter uses many unique sounds and feels to make this album extremely unique. Some of our favorite tracks include “Unfold,” “Look at the Sky,” & “Sweet Time.”
