Up-and-coming electronic/disco duo Gilligan Moss is gearing up for an awesome self-titled debut album and they have released another fun new single to get us excited for it.
Gilligan Moss has gained a lot of attention through their popular remixes of songs like “Gooey” by Glass Animals, and “Brazilian Soul” by The Knocks & Sofi Tukker. They bring a funky, disco-y spin to each of their tracks & remixes, and are continuing to build a unique sound.
On their latest track, “Special Thing,” the duo create a groovy, island sound that includes some animal noises, a pumping beat, and a funky bassline. The vocals add another layer of fun and the animal sounds make this a track that’s perfect for a beach dance party or any type of outdoor fun. Gilligan Moss’ full album will be released through Foreign Family on April 9th!
