Welcome to another week of Infinite Purple’s New Music Friday where we sift through the week’s new tracks to bring you the songs that standout!

Read all the way through or make your way to the bottom for the full Spotify playlist of our Friday discoveries.

Come Over – Jorja Smith (ft. Popcaan)
One of our all-time favorite R&B singers, Jorja Smith, delivers a Latin beat driven track featuring the Jamaican dance hall artist Popcaan. Jorja’s voice is always powerful and sensual making her a musical icon.

I Got You – Disciples
Electronic trio, Disciples, released a fun dance track ready for dance floors everywhere. The bass line and rhythm of this track make it a great end-of-summer anthem.

Not Another Love Song – Ella Mai
Ella Mai’s soulful voice and catchy writing consistently makes her songs standout. Her new track, “Not Another Love Song,” puts Ella’s beautiful vocals in front of some laid back synths and hard hitting bass. Turn this on with the one you “love” or while you’re driving in the car.

Back To Me – Satin Jackets & Panama
Nu Disco producer Satin Jackets teams up here with electronic singer/songwriter Panama to bring us a vibed out late summer track with “Back To Me.” Its a perfect sunset song guaranteed to bring the feels to your slow transition out of summer. This track brings all the feels and feels good in the soul.

Chocolate Pomegranate – Ari Lennox
When it comes to R&B/Soul in 2020 no one does it better than Ari Lennox. We were impressed by Ari Lennox vocal range that has reminiscent flow of Erykah Badu.

Big A$AP – A$AP Ferg (ft. Monica)
At this point it feels like A$AP Ferg can step onto any song and absolutely murder it. If you’re just trying to vibe out to a dope song with a catchy beat and hook then this is it y’all.

Fur – Endor
Endor caused huge waves with his track, “Pump it Up” and we predict his latest release, “Fur”, will follow suit! This one is a wild and upbeat house remix of the classic, “Fur Elise.”

Album Good Luck With Whatever – Dawes
Modern rock band Dawes released a beautiful new album to bring all the feels. Coming off a recent pregnancy announcement with wife Mandy Moore, band leader Taylor Goldsmith brings us his classic sound that will make you thirst for love and adventure. Turn this on while you drive through the country or lay out on a nice beach. Some of our favorite tracks are “St. Augustine At Night,” “Didn’t Fix Me,” & “Free As We Wanna Be.”

Album Love and Dancing – Horse Meat Disco
Love and Dancing is all the world needs in the midst of 2020 and Horse Meat Disco brings all of the joyous disco vibes with this new album! A couple of our favorites are “Let’s Go Dancing” and “Message to the People”

EP I Think It’s Too Late – Felipe Gordon
Felipe Gordon has been releasing lounge-feeling piano house tracks steadily throughout this year. “We All Got the Time” is a vibey and versatile track with a good beat. We love this vibe as a great background play while getting work done or to set the vibe for a sunset.

EP The Fakeside – DEEPFAKE
Mysterious Detroit music duo, DEEPFAKE, have released a fire new EP with tracks that are dance-floor ready. These guys do a weekly livestream on Twitch that will have you dancing around your house. Check out “Guestlist Drama” & “Be Somebody” to get your blood pumping.

Album Addition What Kinda Music (Bonus Tracks) – Tom Misch & Yussef Dayes
We’ve been gifted with 4 more gifts from the soul/funk duo and we couldn’t be more happy. If you love long funky yet beautiful guitar solos, then you need to listen to What Kinda Music. Some our favorite songs from the album are “Can You Feel it,” “Nightrider,” “Lift Off,” and “Tidal Wave.”
